We are pleased to announce that following on from the success of the 2011 UKMSA Conference, the 2012 UKMSA will be held at the Liverpool Convention Centre on Friday 11th May in Liverpool.

How to Get Involved

There are 4 great ways that you can get involved this year:

  1. Join us at the conference. Ticket sales can now be purchased online. Joining the conference allows you to take part in interactive discussions and meet with leaders in the field, learn about an area of medicine you were interested in entering and meet other medical students. For the programme of the entire day, click here and for a list of the speakers, click here.
  2. Online tickets SOLD OUT. Limited tickets available to purchase on the day

UPDATE:Free copy of PasTest Surgical Finals MCQ Book (RRP £16.99) for the first 100 delegates to arrive on the day of the UKMSA conference. All delegates will automatically be entered for a Prize Draw to win ‘PasTest Total Revision Package’ (RRP £149.95). Included in the revision package:
    Medical Student Online Revision Subscription
Data Interpretation for Medical Student 2e
OSCE Stations for Medical Finals Book 1
EMQs for Medical Students Volumes 1,2 & 3

  3. Submit an Abstract, with the possibility of winning a prize for your work. We have constructed an online submission system, allowing you to submit your abstract to our judging panel, who will rank them. The best abstracts will then be selected to be presented as posters at the conference, with the allocation of prizes based on a number of criteria. Anyone presenting a poster will receive a certificate to state that they were invited to do so. Feedback for every submission will be provided. Further details can be found on the abstract submission page.
  4. Enter a competition. This year the UKMSA, in collaboration with MDU, are running an exciting new competition in its search for the medical student of the year. Submit your entry now. Or if you are a part of a student medical or surgical society, why not nominate your society for MPS Best Medical Society Competition or RCSEd Best Surgical Society Competition.
  5. Follow us on Facebook or Twitter.

Please email conference@ukmsa.org to register your interest and be kept on the conference mailing list.
