Society funding

The UKMSA seeks to encourage the growth and success of smaller medically related societies. One of the greatest constraining factors for smaller societies is often funding, especially in the current economic climate.

The UKMSA is a non-profit organisation and seeks to re-invest its funds in relevant medical societies. We are therefore happy to accept requests for funding. Please complete and submit the form at the bottom of the page.

Please note that your society must first be registered before applying. Registration is quick and completely free. Please click here to register.

Criteria for a successful funding application

1) Funding is provided primarily in support newly established and smaller societies

2) Funding may be provided for the following reasons:

a) To help establish a new medical society
b) To purchase resources essential for the running of a society
c) To help run an event (this includes both academic and non-academic events)

If you wish to apply for a reason other than those listed, please clearly state your reasons for doing so.
